Microsoft Bring The name Amazon Problem 'App Store' Apple

While Nokia insists its patent rights have been violated Apple, others again with Microsoft. His efforts in confronting the rate of patenting Apple trademarks 'App Store' still continues. In the objections this time, Microsoft is carrying around the name of the Amazon.

It said the software giant, Amazon launch AppStore has recently proved that 'App Store' is a generic term and is very important for the competitors.

According to Microsoft, Amazon's launch of Apple's AppStore add to the total rivals who use the term amounted to 17 companies.

"The use of this, although Apple's continuing efforts to patent the name of their online stores, shows that there needs to be competitive for this term,"said Microsoft, quoted from Apple Insider, Wednesday (03/30/2011).

In filing objections to the institution of management issues patents and trademarks in the United States (U.S.), Patent and Trademark Office, Microsoft wrote that Apple can not avoid the fact that when people talk about Apple's online store competitors, they call it 'app stores ".
 


"Even the CEO of Apple CEO Steve Jobs himself mentioned applications market in general as 'app stores'," wrote Microsoft.
