Sandy Bridge Processor

Currently only a few types of desktop CPUs SandyBridge architecture that can be easily remembered, Some are forgotten, for i3 instance. i3 does not support AES-NI, features encryption acceleration and turbo Boost. In addition, Core i3 not the overclock. he has on-die graphics equivalent to HD 2000. for example, Intel Core i3-2100 running at 2.93 GHz and i3-2120 that runs at 3.3 GHz. both are dual core models that use Hyper-Threading with 65W power. they are equipped with 3 MB L3 cache.

Core i5 has a better fate than oblivion i3 because not many users. All Processor Core i5 has four physical cores, except the processor that is named I5-2390T. They have a 6 MB L3 cache, features AES-NI, and Turbo Boost. No wonder If they become the best choice for most users.

  • I5-2300: 2.8 GHz (3.1 GHz Turbo Boost), 95 W
  • I5-2400: 3.1 GHz (3.4 GHz Turbo Boost), 95 W
  • I5-2500: 3.3 GHz (3.7 GHz Turbo Boost), 95 W
  • I5-2500K: the same specification with I5-2500, but have used the unlocked multiplier for overclocking.
Core i7 has similar specifications to the i5, but it has 8 MB of L3 cache with eight threads or four Core. Good choice indeed, but unfortunately the price is quite expensive.
