Iran's National Olympic Committee protest the logo of the 2012 Olympic games will take place in London, England. According to Iran, the Olympic logo will damage the purity of the Olympic and accused the British Olympic organizers involved in the practice of racism.

"It is unfortunate, we all witnessed that the upcoming Olympics will face a serious challenge that gave birth to the spirit of racism from some people," said Chairman of the National Olympic Committee of Iran, Mohammad Aliabadi in his letter to IOC president Jacques Rogge.

Meanwhile, the 2012 London Olympic organizers deny the accusations of racism behind the Olympic logo and said that the logo represents only the year 2012 without any other purpose. "This logo was launched in 2007 to include a series of tests and consultations, and we were very surprised by the complaint filed today," said a spokeswoman for London 2012.
