Domain Name System (DNS) is an application service on the Internet that translates a domain name like www.haalloo.com into IP address like 209.131.36.159 and one type of system that serves the request mapping IP addresses to FQPN (Fany Qualified Domain Name) and from the FQDN to IP addresses.

DNS is usually used in applications related to the Internet such as Web browsers or e-mail, Where DNS help map the host name to IP address of a computer. Besides being used in the Internet DNS can also be implemented to a private network or networks.

Google has now launched and provides a free DNS service to the public that is named Google Public DNS. Now everyone can use Google's DNS server address at 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

By using the Google Public control could increase the speed when browsing and open a web page. Not only that, but it also increases security when you surf and open many sites on the Internet.


It should be remembered, by changing the DNS, the Internet download speed we stay the same depending on the internet that we use. This is only to increase the speed in opening a website address.
