Egypt's Military Create an Facebook Account

Egypt's military create an Facebook account to communicate with the youth. In a written account, "this page is dedicated to the Armed Forces Supreme Council of Egyptian youth revolution January 25."

The idea of making a Facebook account that triggered the Egyptian Military Council chief Marshal Hussein Tantawi. He hoped through these accounts is able to establish relationships with the young Egyptian army so as to create stability and security.

Tantawi added since Hosni Mubarak resigned as President, the Military Council had no enthusiasm for politics. He stressed that the Military Council is still committed to making a transition to democracy and return power to civilians after the founding of the regime after 30 years Mubarok.
