Improving Windows XP Security

In Windows NT, before entering your username and password to log on normally we have to press Ctrl + Alt + Del first. The same is actually also be done on Windows XP. It's just that this feature is disabled by default. If you want the same features as Windows NT works on Windows XP, you can follow these steps ....


1. Click Start -> Control Panel -> Performance and Maintenance -> Administrative Tools -> Local Security Policy.
2. When the Local Security Policy window is already open, go to Security Settings \ LocalPolicies \ Security Options.
3. Then look for the policy Interactive logon: Do not require CTRL + ALT + DEL.
4. Double-click the policy and then select Disabled
5. After that close the dialog box by clicking OK and close the Local Security Policy window After you follow the steps above, then before you can log on, you must press Ctrl + Alt + Del first
